Tiffany Dugan is an artist and writer living and working in New York City.

Her visual arts practice focuses on collage using images collected from newspapers and other ephemera. She often cuts words and phrases from articles or incorporates her writing into the work. By erasing and obscuring sections of the work, she further examines the movement of form as well as impermanence and change. She is inspired by both nature and the energy of the city.

She has written a full-length manuscript of creative non-fiction "Love and Art" about the itinerant life of a close-knit family as told by the daughter, a creative only child. Art is a central theme, inspired by her father. She explores filial affection and how after her father dies, she decides to face the challenges in her relationships, her legacy, and fulfilling her own creative life. She is working on a second manuscript, "Why Art?" which explores the practical and emotional process of art legacy.

She received the 2019 Gurfein Writing Fellowship in creative non-fiction and The Denis Diderot Artist-In-Residence Grant at Chateau d'Orquevaux.
